Reliable  State of Mighigan Driver's
License Substance Abuse Evaluations

A thorough, detailed and accurate evaluation by an experienced evaluator can give you the best opportunity at a positive outcome.  I have 28 years of experience with evaluations and can address the critical points a hearing officer may focus on, as well as advise you of issues you may need to address before you proceed.  I can help walk you through the process of the evaluation and make any suggestions as far as treatment, length of clean time, or support systems to help aide you in obtaining your license before you are ready to even request the evaluation or hearing.

Qualified Therapist

I have a degree from the University of Michigan in Clinical Psychology and have been a substance abuse therapist for over 25 years and a clinical supervisor for 15. I am a certified alcohol and drug counselor as well as a certified clinical supervisor through the Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals.

Evaluation Process

The evaluation is a thorough process and includes a  test questionnaire,  evaluation of your substance abuse history and treatment completed, previous legal history, support systems, and prognosis for ongoing recovery.  You will also be required to obtain a drug screen meeting state requirements from a certified lab.

Prompt and Convenient

A list of required documentation will be provided to you so you can submit everything at one time. Once all paperwork is received, the evaluation will be scheduled and completed within a few days.   Evaluations can be done through remote telehealth communication, so you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your home. This includes out of state residents.
